ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Sunshine and drier weather is in store for Wednesday with some puffy clouds in the afternoon and less humidity in the air.

Thursday looks nice with a touch more humidity. Thunder chances go up a bit later in the day on Thursday but it’s Friday that we are keeping an eye on for more widespread storms.

Threat Tracker is green for now as no severe weather is expected but stay tuned for any updates if the weather looks to turn worse. For now, plan on some storms for Friday with locally heavy downpours and perhaps some gusty winds.

The good news is the front clears late in the day and a nice weekend is in the forecast. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on the storms Friday and also some summer heat in the extended forecast.
