ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rain is increasing across the region for Thursday morning and will be with us for much of the day.
Grab the umbrella and the raincoat as gusty winds will bring windswept showers through the day. A few heavier downpours are possible later into the morning and through the early afternoon. As the cold front crosses the area, a rumble of thunder is possible.
Rain amounts will not be excessive but plan on a quarter to half an inch on average with a few local amounts closer to an inch before it ends later in the afternoon into the early evening hours. Once the rain clears, some much nicer weather will return for Friday.
Friday will feature some sunshine and drier conditions with temperatures in the 50s. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest updates on the rain today and looking ahead to the weekend.
