ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Lots of clouds are in store for Tuesday with a few flurries and staying cold.

A few snow showers will develop on Tuesday night and then a period of steadier snow arrives overnight through the early morning.

We’re looking at about an inch or two for most of the region with a little more possible east and south of Rochester with a little icy mix as well. While this will not be a big storm the snow will be slushy and slippery, especially in the more rural areas, so be prepared for some slick spots and allow a few extra minutes to get going in the morning.

Conditions will improve after 8am with some snow and rain showers for Wednesday afternoon with no additional accumulations. Stay tuned to News10NBC as we track the snow tonight into tomorrow and also keep an eye out for lake effect snow later in the week.
