First Alert Weather: Thunderstorms likely for Monday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Showers and thunderstorms will be on the increase for Monday.

A few storms may bring heavy rain and a gust of wind around midday. Scattered thunder will continue into the afternoon and early evening before clearing out for Monday night. The forecast in Buffalo is mainly dry for the Bills game with a gusty breeze.

On Tuesday, the weather looks nice with temperatures in the 70s. A strong cold front will arrive on Wednesday and bring a significant cool down for the end of the week. Out ahead of the front it will briefly turn warm and muggy in the 80s before thunder arrives later in the day and at night.
