ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The trick-or-treat forecast isn’t looking too scary, though we will see a mainly gray sky and a few passing showers. Temperatures will be on the milder side for late October, holding in the mid and upper 50s throughout the evening. A few showers will linger into the first half of Tuesday, but much like Monday, they’ll be spotty and fairly light. Some limited clearing is possible late, but expect another mostly cloudy sky. We’ll see another stretch of warming and dry weather, starting on Wednesday. Wednesday may start off with some low clouds and fog, but we’ll clear things out by the afternoon, with temperatures in the lower 60s away from Lake Ontario, 50s closer to the lake. Thursday, Friday and Saturday will see a mix of clouds and sun with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s and dry weather.
Our warmth should peak on Sunday in the lower to mid 70s, but we’ll be tracking our next cold front, set to arrive late Sunday and into Monday. This will bring an increasing chance for rain late Sunday, and especially into Monday. If we can hold the rain off long enough, we’ll be in for another spectacular fall weekend across western New York.
