ROCHESTER, N.Y. — After a few cool days and frosty mornings, we’ve made it back to the 60s on Tuesday and we’re going up from there.

Highs on Wednesday will flirt with 70, with lower 70s likely on Thursday. Thursday should be the warmest day, but Wednesday will be the pick of the week with nearly full sunshine to go along with that milder air.

Thursday will see clouds filling back in and just the slight chance of a shower as our next cold front approaches. That front will arrive Friday morning with a period of showers, followed by a brisk breeze and temperatures tumbling back into the 40s by the end of the day.

This will set the stage for a cool start to the weekend, with the cool breeze continuing on Saturday, but just the slight chance of a stray shower and temperatures holding within a few degrees of 50.

Sunday should be the pick of the weekend, with highs back up near 60, less wind and a bit more sun. Our roller coaster temperature forecast continues next week with a slow warming trend through about mid-week, then another strong front moving in by late week, bringing another shot of cooler air.
