ROCHESTER, N.Y. We enjoyed a spectacular Thanksgiving Day with highs in the 50s and high clouds and sun.
Showers make a return overnight, but they’ll be fairly light, with a tenth of an inch of accumulation for most by morning. And most of the wet weather should be gone by morning.
While the rest of Friday will be mainly dry, it’ll be mostly cloudy, breezy and cooler, with temperatures holding in the lower 40s. Saturday will be another late November beauty, with sunshine and highs near 50. The only thing we’ll be able to complain about will be a bit of a breeze.
Wet weather returns on Sunday, with a wave of steadier rain developing. We’ll see a quarter to a half inch of rain by Monday morning. Most precipitation once again tapers through the morning hours, but it may turn cool enough to see some wet flakes mixing in, though no accumulation is expected.
We’ll dry things out again Tuesday with some sun, but another stronger wave of low pressure will be moving in on Wednesday. It’ll be a windy and mild day with rain developing. This strong low will drag much cooler air into western New York on Thursday with a brisk wind and scattered snow showers.
