ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The wind and cold is the weather story once again for us on Monday.
Temperatures in the 30s will feel like the teens and 20s with gusts easily 30-40 mph and a few gusts to 45mph possible for midday into the early afternoon.
Any higher wind gusts will be mainly west of Rochester. The wind today will be similar to Sunday, so not anticipating any widespread issues with tree limbs and power outages but a few isolated problems cannot be ruled out.
The wind settles down tonight and then we have a nice weather story taking us through Thanksgiving. If you are traveling out of town or have friends and family arriving tomorrow or Wednesday there are no storms to deal with across the Great Lakes or east coast.
The weather on Thanksgiving Day looks nice. Plan on a chilly morning but a nice and mild afternoon with increasing clouds and dry conditions throughout the day.
Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on the wind gusts today and updates on what could be a stormier pattern heading into next weekend.
