ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Police and firefighters from Monroe County faced off on the ice Saturday for a good cause. They hosted a fundraiser hockey game at the Lakeshore Hockey Arena with all proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Coalition. Breast Cancer survivors, or “The Pink Ladies,” as they’re known, dropped the puck.
Players went on the ice with the goal of crushing their previous fundraising record of $3,900.
