FLORDIA (WHEC) — Luke Knox, a linebacker for Florida International University who died at age 22, is the brother of Bills’ player Dawson Knox.

FIU Panthers Football Mike MacIntyre announced Luke’s death on Thursday morning. There is no word yet on his cause of death but authorities don’t suspect foul play.

On Friday, Dawson Knox put out the following Tweet:

Bills Coach Sean McDermott said in a conference that the team was heartbroken by the death of Luke and they’re sending their thoughts and prayers to Dawson and his family.

Luke was two years younger than his brother Dawson. Luke started his college football career playing for Ole Miss and transferred to FIU this year. The brothers are from Brentwood, Tennessee and Dawson graduated from Ole Miss.
