Honeycrisp weekend begins at Wickham Farms
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Wickham Farms’ Honeycrisp apple crop is ready to be picked. This year, Wickham Farms’ 1,500 Honeycrisp trees have yielded a strong crop of the ever-popular apple.
Wickham Farms will celebrate its official Honeycrisp Weekend on Saturday, September 17th and Sunday September 18th. In addition to apple picking, Wickham Farms has brought back its famous Fall Shake Up, which is a delicious combination of apple cider slushee, creamy vanilla ice cream, and a fresh cider donut on top. Other apple treats offered will include fresh apple cider donuts, apple cider, new apple nachos, and funnel cakes topped with warm apples too. Demand for Honeycrisp is always very high, so it is best to pick soon before the crop is picked out for the season.
Honeycrisp Weekend is a great time to visit the farm to enjoy all of the farm’s 30+ attractions including hayrides, a corn maze, kid’s train ride, mini golf, jumping pillows and much more.
Apple picking and farm attractions will be open for the remainder of the fall season, which runs through Halloween. The farm is open every day from 10am – 7pm, except it is closed on Wednesdays. Tickets are available at the gate, or here.
Wickham Farms is located at 1315 Sweets Corners Road, Penfield.
