House struck by gunfire on Taylor Street in city’s west side

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A house with several people inside was struck by gunfire in the city’s west side on Tuesday.

Rochester Police responded around 1:30 a.m. after getting ShotSpotter alerts for Taylor Street off Silver Street. They determined a house in that area was hit by multiple bullets but no one inside was hit.

RPD is investigating and asking anyone with information to call 911.
