ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Part of a major interstate was shut down Tuesday night in Rochester—deputies say it’s because of a wrong-way driver.
Deputies are investigating a four-car crash on I-590, just north of Monroe Avenue. The driver was going south in the northbound lane.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle, Michelle Intschert, 28, of Spencerport, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving.
Investigators tell us no one was seriously hurt.
I-590 North has since reopened.
