Irondequoit council members meeting to discuss censuring council member

IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — A meeting is set for Tuesday to discuss censuring Irondequoit Council Member Atrina Freeman.

According to the censure notice, the town board was made aware of certain actions taken by Freeman it says are “antagonistic.” It also claims she frequently addressed town employees in a demeaning and accusatory manner.

Freeman recently raised concerns about Irondequoit Town Supervisor Rory Fitzpatrick. She says he broke her wrist as a board meeting was ending last month. It’s an accusation Fitzpatrick denies.
