BATAVIA, N.Y. (WHEC) — Hall of fame quarterback Jim Kelly was back in Batavia for his charity golf tournament on Monday. Kelly was unable to attend the tournament in 2021 because of an ankle issue.

He talked about this year’s Bills squad. Kelly, who led the Bills to four Super Bowls, mentioned that there’s something he thinks their new offensive coordinator might want to keep in mind when designing plays for Josh Allen.

“The biggest key is, I think we all know this and probably no cliche now, but staying healthy,” Kelly said. “We’ve got to keep our star players healthy. I’ve already had a good talk with Ken Dorsey. He was one of my speakers at my football camp, and I said the only thing I got to say is limit the amount of tall players for Josh to run I get the scrambling, but don’t I don’t want to see him eight to ten times on a keeper that was put in from the sideline. No, we don’t need all that.”
