Two teens stabbed and another suffers cut overnight in the city

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Two teenagers were stabbed and another suffered a cut overnight in two separate areas of the city. All three of teens are expected to survive.

Rochester Police responded to the first stabbing on Seventh Street on the city’s east side just before 9:40 p.m. on Monday. Officers found a boy, 14, with a cut to the upper body and he was taken to the hospital. Officers also learned that private car took a girl, 14, to the hospital to treat multiple stab wounds to the upper body.

RPD investigators say a fight may have led up to the stabbing, where a suspect used a sharp object to cut the boy and girl. There are no suspects in custody.

Just after midnight, officers also responded to Strong Hospital after getting reports of a walk-in stabbing victim. They learned that a boy, 15, had been stabbed in the upper body. RPD says the boy was stabbed during a robbery on Warner Street on the city’s west side and he had property stolen from him. No suspects are in custody.

Anyone with information about their stabbing is asked to call 911.
