Two teens arrested in stolen car on Lyell Ave. and Sherman St.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Two teens were arrested in a stolen car that crashed on Rochester’s northwest side. It happened on Lyell Avenue and Sherman Street at 5 p.m. Thursday.

Police say the driver of a stolen Hyundai was pointing a gun out the window of the car. Officers tried to stop him, but he refused. The driver hit a car on Lyell Avenue and kept going until the car stopped working.

Three people ran from the scene, and two of them were caught. They are 14 and 15 years old. The third suspect is still on the run.
