UPDATE: Police investigate shooting on Pullman Avenue; another shooting on Delamaine Drive investigated as accidental

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 21-year-old man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital after being shot in the lower body Friday afternoon. Rochester Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.

Police responded to 417 Pullman Ave. at about 3:15 p.m. for the report of a person shot. They found the man with a gunshot wound to his lower body.

Police said no suspects are in custody and they don’t currently have a description of the suspect or suspects.

Just a little over 10 minutes later, police responded to the area of Delamaine Drive for the report of a person shot. They found a 17-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his lower body, and he was taken to Strong for non-life-threatening injuries. Police said this is being investigated as accidental and self-inflicted.
