ROCHESTER, N.Y. — An annual summer tradition and an opportunity to watch a favorite comfort movie is back. Monroe County announced the “Movies in the Park” lineup on Monday.

Movies in the Park is a family-friendly series of movie screenings at popular spots around the county. It runs from June to September and attendance is free.

“Movies in the Park is a great opportunity for family and friends to get together, spend some
time outdoors, and enjoy a few all-time favorite films for free this summer,” said County
Executive Bello.

2025 event dates:

• Friday, June 27: Moana 2 at Ontario Beach Park
• Thursday, July 17: Angels in the Outfield at Innovative Field
• Friday, July 25: Madagascar at Seneca Park Zoo
• Thursday, August 7: Homeward Bound at Innovative Field
• Friday, August 15: October Sky at Highland Park
• Friday, August 29: The Wild Robot at Webster Park

The county says the movies will start about a half hour after the sunset. But, movies at Innovative Field will begin at 7 p.m.
