Longtime Amerks coach Joe Crozier dies at age 93

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Some sad news in the hockey world. Longtime Rochester Americans player and head coach Joe Crozier has died.

He finished his career in Rochester in 1961. Cozier later on returned to become the Amerks head coach and won three Calder Cups.

He also coached the Buffalo Sabres from 1971 to 1974 and was inducted into the American Hockey League Hall of Fame in 2012. Crozier was 93 years old.
