Wayne County man arrested for arson

LYONS, N.Y. – New York State Police arrested 49-year-old Christopher Cartwright, of Lyons, for arson on Friday. The charge stems from a February 9, 2023 investigation into a suspicious garage fire at 96 William Street in the town of Lyons. The garage was a total loss from the fire damage.

Cartwright is in Wayne County Jail awaiting his court appearance.
