Man injured in shooting on Jefferson Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 43-year-old is recovering after a shooting on Jefferson Avenue near Bartlett Street on Wednesday morning.
Rochester Police responded around 1 a.m. and found the man shot in the lower body. An ambulance took the man to Strong Hospital and he is expected to survive.
Police have no suspects in custody and are asking anyone with information to call 911.
