Police release name of man killed Saturday on Cedarwood Terrace

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Police said 24-year-old Christopher Sherman is the name of the man fatally shot on Cedarwood Terrance, near Quincy Street, on Saturday morning.
The Rochester Police Department first responded at around 5:15 a.m. Officers found Sherman unresponsive, laying on the sidewalk with an upper-body gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
RPD is investigating and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
