Man shot on Garson Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Rochester man is in the hospital after being shot on Garson Avenue Friday evening.
Police say they responded around 5:45 to the 700 block of Garson Ave for the reports of gunshots heard. While in route, officers received a call for a male shot at Cedarwood Terrace and Kingston Street.
Upon arrival, officers located a 50-year-old man suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his lower body. The victim said that he was shot on Garson Ave.
The victim’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
There are currently no suspects in custody. Anyone with information is asked to please call 911.
