Man shot while driving on Masseth Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. A man is recovering at the hospital after being shot while driving.
Just before 10 p.m. Saturday, RPD responded to the area of Ames and Masseth streets for the report of shots heard in the area.
Police also say a car crashed into a light pole one block away at the corner of Ames and Masseth streets. Police say they found the crashed vehicle unoccupied and quickly learned the two incidents were related.
The driver is a 32-year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound. It is unclear when the victim was shot. If you have any information you are asked to call 911.
