PERINTON, N.Y. – A person is in the hospital with serious injuries after a motorcycle crash on Route 96 in Perinton Thursday.

The crash happened between Park Road and Fishers Road. Deputies say the motorcycle was traveling east at a high rate of speed and hit a sedan coming from Park Road.

The driver of the sedan had no injuries. Deputies have not released any names yet.

A News10NBC photojournalist saw multiple firefighters, a helmet on the ground, a motorcycle with severe damage, and a car off the side of the road.
