Memorial Day Parade heads down East Ave with drummers, dancers, and brass bands
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester’s Memorial Day Parade is headed down East Avenue with drum corps, dancers, brass bands, and marchers honoring those who died while serving the United States.
The parade started at 10:30 a.m. at East and Alexander. After heading down East Avenue, it turned west on Main Street. Crowds lined the sidewalk right outside of News10NBC’s studio on East Avenue to watch the parade. The Memorial Day parade is one of the city’s longest-running parades, dating back to the early 1900s.
