Monkeypox case reported in Ontario County, 12 total cases for Monroe County

ONTARIO COUNTY, N.Y. —  The New York State Department of Health is reporting a case of monkeypox in Ontario County.

The number of monkeypox cases in Monroe County remains at twelve. Other nearby counties with confirmed cases of monkeypox include Niagara with 2 cases, Erie with 17, and Seneca with one case.
