Monroe County opioid overdoses down from last year

Monroe County released the numbers for opioid-related overdoses for the month of July on Friday.
Some good news was that both overdoses and fatalities were at a year low. There were 35 overdoses in the county, and five were fatal.
Both numbers are half of what Monroe County had in July 2021.
