UPDATE: Name released for motorcyclist who died in Hamlin crash

HAMLIN, N.Y. — John Sackett, 56 of Hamlin, is the motorcyclist who died in a crash on Wednesday.

It happened as he was riding around the Lake Road East Fork and Lake Road West Fork area in Hamlin. The crash only involved the motorcycle. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
