No injuries after confusion caused driver to crash car into Brighton building
BRIGHTON, N.Y. – Brighton Police said that at about 12:54 p.m. on Tuesday, a car crashed into a building at 1465 Monroe Avenue in Brighton.
The 69-year-old driver, Charles H. Albrecht of Pittsford, was the only person in the car, and he was not injured.
There was significant damage to the building. The crash appears to be caused by driver confusion when he hit the gas instead of the brake.
There were no tickets issued, and traffic was not affected.
