NY State approved for disaster money after Ontario County floods

ALBANY, N.Y. – Governor Kathy Hochul says President Joe Biden has approved her request for a Major Disaster Declaration after flooding devastated parts of New York State, including Canandaigua and other parts of Ontario County.
The declaration will free up funds for recovery and reconstruction in the areas hit hard by flooding. Governor Hochul says the flooding caused more than $100 million dollars in damage.
