Part of 590 South temporarily shut down after car crash

ROCHESTER, N.Y Emergency crews were on scene of a car accident that shut down parts of 590.
The accident happened southbound near the Elmwood Avenue exit. We’re told the driver hit a utility pole and the vehicle is totaled.
She has since been transported to Strong Hospital and is currently in critical condition. 590 southbound near Elmwood Avenue has since reopened.
