UPDATE: Empire Boulevard in Penfield reopens after fallen utility pole

PENFIELD, N.Y. — Empire Boulevard in Penfield has reopened on Thursday in both directions after a crash the day earlier caused a utility pole to fall.

The crash happened near the intersection with Plank Road and took out power for some RG&E customers on Wednesday. Crews have finished repairing the damage.
