Pedestrian flown to hospital after being hit by vehicle in Lyons

LYONS, N.Y. – A pedestrian was flown to the hospital Friday night after a crash in the town of Lyons.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said the victim, a 30-year-old Lyons man, was hit at State Route 14 (Geneva Street) and Water Street around 10 p.m. by a vehicle hearing north on Route 14.

The Sheriff’s Office said today that he was believed to be in the intensive care unit.
