Person rescued after crashing into tree in Victor

VICTOR, N.Y. — A car crashed into a tree and caught on fire on Friday morning on the Thruway in Victor.
The Fishers Fire District says the person inside the car was able to escape. Firefighters responded around 4:45 a.m. Crews worked to extinguishing the flames while Victor-Farmington Volunteer Ambulance cared for the person who escaped the fiery crash.
