Rochester firefighters rescue two pet birds from house fire on Stenson Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Rochester Fire Department says a house caught on fire with two pet birds inside on Thursday night on Stenson Street off Lexington Avenue.
The fire was in the attic of the home. Firefighters didn’t say if any people were inside the home at the time, but they did rescue the two birds.
