Police: Man’s gunshot wound was self-inflicted

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Rochester Police say the man found shot near Byers Court and Daus Alley Sunday night shot himself by accident.
Police found the 57-year-old with a gunshot wound to his upper body around 6:45 p.m.
He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
He’s expected to recover.
