City’s Office of Financial Empowerment receives grant to support homeownership

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The City of Rochester’s Office of Financial Empowerment has received a grant to expand its efforts.

The office received $100,000 from Key Bank for its programs in homeownership, small business support, and more. Since the program’s launch in 2020, it has helped more than 2,300 people and increased their savings by more than $1.6 million.
