RPD: Stolen car found engulfed in flames around Virginia Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police found a car fully engulfed in flames around Virginia Avenue and Genesee Park Boulevard on Thursday. A preliminary investigation suggests the car was stolen.
Rochester’s police and fire departments responded around 2 a.m. after getting reports of a single-car crash. They found the car on fire with no one inside.
RPD is asking anyone with information to call 911.
