Seneca Falls man arrested for sexual abuse after attacking woman at business

SENECA FALLS, N.Y. – A Seneca Falls man was arrested early Tuesday morning for attacking a woman at a business. Seneca Falls Police say 44-year-old William A. Meacham physically restrained a female victim and forcibly engaged in sexual activity with her.
Meacham was charged with attempted rape, sexual abuse, forcible touching, and unlawful imprisonment. He was also charged with criminal solicitation for trying o pay the victim. He was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment. An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
