Shots fired into house on Marlow Street after large fight nearby

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Rochester Police Officers responded to the area of Marlow Street, near Jay Street, on Sunday afternoon for a report of a large fight among a mix of teenagers and adults. The fight was over when police arrived, and the main group of aggressors were gone. 

The investigation revealed that there were a variety of weapons involved, including a firearm. After the fight ended there was an unknown amount of bullets fired into an occupied home in the 100 block of Marlow Street. There were 10 people in the house at the time. No one in the home was injured.

About 30 minutes later, a 33-year-old female, city resident went to Rochester General Hospital saying she was involved in the fight at Marlow Street. Her injuries were minor.

No one is in custody at this time, and no other injuries have been reported. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
