ALBANY, N.Y. – New York court workers fired over the state’s COVID vaccine mandate must be rehired with back pay.

The state’s public employment relations board issued the ruling saying the unified court system must rehire any workers fired over the mandate and must “cease and desist” from enforcing policies requiring non-judicial employees to be vaccinated or undergo regular COVID testing.
