U.S. News and World Report ranks U of R, RIT, and Fisher on its list of top universities

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — U.S. News and World Report ranked the University of Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology, and St. John Fisher University on its list of top American universities.
The 2022-2023 rankings were released on Monday. Here are some of the highlights for local colleges and universities.
For the best national university rankings:
- U of R ranked #36, tying with Boston College.
- RIT ranked #105
- Fisher ranked #202
For best value colleges and universities:
- U of R ranked #25
- Nazareth College ranked #36
- Fisher ranked #47
- RIT ranked #48
For most innovative colleges and universities:
- RIT ranked #41
In the best colleges for veterans ranking, Nazareth ranked as #16 and SUNY Brockport ranked #19.
