UPDATE: Deputies find no credible threat at L3 Harris
HENRIETTA, N.Y. – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says they didn’t find anyone with a weapon at Aerospace and defense company L3 Harris on Jefferson Road in Henrietta.
Deputies responded on Sunday around 8:30 p.m. after getting a report of a man with a gun. After arrival, deputies learned that an employee got a text message claiming there was someone with a gun inside the business.
With the help of the New York State Police, deputies cleared every room for threats and determined that all employees were safe. the sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate.
“MCSO would like to thank the staff of L3 Harris, who received a threat and didn’t hesitate to call 911,” said a statement from the sheriff’s office.
