Viewer submitted pictures: Haze, sun, and moon from Canadian wildfires

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — An air quality health advisory for the Rochester region remains in effect through Thursday. It’s due to the continued haziness in the sky because of the Canadian wildfires.

Northernly winds have carried smoke and particulate matter from wildfires around Quebec, Canada hundreds of miles away to Rochester.

Although the air is not good to breathe, it made for some spectacular pictures that viewers sent in.
