Wickham farms sunflower festival and corn maze returns

PENFIELD, N.Y. (WHEC) — Thursday marks the start of the 6^th annual “Sunflower Spectacular” at Wickham Farms, a festival that includes tours of the farm’s 10-acre sunflower field and a corn maze.

This year, the festival in Penfield also celebrates the Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp, which has provided fun experiences for children with physical disabilities for 100 years. The maze is in the shape of the camp’s logo.

The corn maze, hay rides, and other activities will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Thursday until September 5. Guests can take photos with the around 30 varieties of sunflowers at the farm.
