ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A strong cold front moved through Wednesday with a few damaging storms in the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier but thankfully most of our region dodged the heaviest weather.

Now that the front has cleared, much cooler air is moving in with a gusty breeze developing in Thursday morning.

Temperatures will actually drop into the 50s for the afternoon with some windswept showers on the increase during the day.

Grab the umbrella as you head out and maybe even the light jacket as it will feel 20-30 degrees cooler today than yesterday. Cool weather continues Friday into the weekend with nice weather Saturday and perhaps some rain on Sunday. Stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest on the weekend forecast.
