Business broken into on Lake Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A business was broken into on Lake Avenue near Emerson Street on Wednesday morning. Rochester Police say the suspects got away with a small amount of loose change.

RPD officers responded just before 3 a.m. after the alarm went off. They found broken glass on the ground and contacted the owners.

RPD says this burglary isn’t connected to the recent string of smash-and-grabs in Rochester. Officers are investigating and asking anyone with information to call 911.
