ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A snowy start to the day today, and with the slick and snow covered roads the First Alert Weather Team will continue yesterday’s Yellow Alert through this morning before expiring this afternoon. Snow showers this morning will taper as we move through today, but with the lingering snow showers an additional inch will be possible through today.

Also, take it easy clearing the snow today as it might not have been much, but it is filled with water and is very heavy. Other than that, we will remain cloudy with temperatures making their way into the mid-30s for afternoon highs. Then for any plans this evening, things will be greatly improved. Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight as temperatures drop into the upper 20s.

The dry and pleasant weather will continue through Sunday as well with highs near 40, but we will remain under limited sunshine.
